What's In a Name?

"My art creates a lasting memory of wild flowers and other inspirations of nature - with passion and beauty abound - in the free flow and unlimited expression of the universe."
This description evolved from a workshop I took many years ago. How does one describe how one feels about their work, their passion?
Daisigns was a dream in the mind of a little girl who knew that some day that dream would become a reality. Daisigns - joining of initials and "designs" - seemed a logical approach to a name and almost as logical as being self taught through "painting by numbers" of the "masters" using oils. That and drawing and doodling filled many happy and entertaining hours during those early years.
The fascination with flowers and the passion to paint and draw them. Where to begin? Their intense beauty; the never ending variety; the many and varied colors, sizes; and their perfume - lasting memories.
"Nobody sees a flower, really - it is so small - we haven't time, and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time." - Georgia O'Keeffe
I love detail in art. I get lost in it. I lose track of time. My escape from reality or my true reality? One can only hope...
